The form of the words you learned in this lesson:
(ou, e, ta, ma, lua, tou, la)
Are used before the action word.

In the previous lesson you learned to ask

“Do you two want to drink?”

E fia feinu oulua?

In this lesson you practice asking another way

by placing the person first and the action later

“Do you two want to drink?” would be:

“Lua te fia feinu?”

Put the alternate form of the word (Lua instead of Oulua) first.

Follow it with the word “te”

Followed by “fia” and the proper for of the action word (singular or plural):

E fia momoe laua – La te fia momoe

E fia talatalanoa outou – Tou te fia talatalanoa

E fia a’u – Ou te fia ai

As was the case in the last lesson statements and questions

differ only in sound of voice. Listen to the audio to hear the difference.

Also similar to the last lesson in order to negate the statement or question “don’t want” instead of “want” add the word “le” before “fia”
